Sayonara Nagoya
What am I going to miss in Nagoya??
Well, Nagoya played a very big part in my life.. Ive experienced one of the hottest days in Japan, seen many girls in skirts or short shorts, pekpekshorts as they say, ate at different famous restaurants in Japan, seen Filipino Night Clubs Paro-Paro, met new friends, met a Japanese who is very good in English, spent so much on foods and travels, seen new temples, seen a castle, seen a Tower (Nagoya Tower, even first than the famous Tokyo Tower), entered a Japanese School, seen botiques that I never even want to enter, ate Takoyaki, failed at dieting, arrived at home first than the rest of my friends (20 minute travel time to and from the office), went inside a very very very big Karaoke house, seen boys prettier than girls whose eyebrows are more kikay than girls’, lived in a place where fashion is very common and just by standing with them makes me feel like an alalay, never even went around the place so much, never experienced going to the Amusement park, where soda is a must, drinking coffee for free, started smoking again, never did drink on my own, ate at macdonalds everyday, experienced hanging out with foreigners, seen odd english posters, experienced company parties, twice, and alot more…
Nagoya offers a lot of sight viewing places like the Nagoya Castle, Nagoya Tower, the Twin Tower Takashimaya, Spiral Building, Spiral something, temples, tall statue that wears different attires depending on the occassion, and more..
Here are some of the places that Ive been to here in Nagoya:

so there.. Im going to miss Nagoya.. Its cold weather, people I became close to, all the poeple Ive talked to, girls who wear less clothes even if its cold, and the 20-minute travel time company that Ive worked to…
And who knows, maybe Ill be able to work here again.. But as of now, priorities are priorities.. So If ever that Ill be back here in Nagoya again, I promised myself to go to places Ive never been to.. So hopefully, theres another chance for me to do that..
Homeless Guy
Well, on saturday I will say Sayonara to Nagoya and Youkoso to Tokyo.. So today is my last night here in Nagoya, and I prepared all my things and am ready to transfer to a new home.. Those things included the rice cooker, my office attire, my cooking materials, some books, and finally, my bed or what we call here futon.. Im going to leave as early as 7am tomorrow to catch the bus going to Tokyo at around 8.30 am.. And someone from the logistics company will get my box and transfer it to my new apartment in Tokyo… Sad to say I will not be able to handle the transactions because I will leave early.. Good thing that my roommate Demsen is available and that I asked him to do it for me..
Right now, I already packed my futon, and guess how I am going to sleep tonight??

Karton at rag...
So yeah, no joking, tonight I will sleep using a box that will serve as my comfort for the night.. Hmm, feel like Im homeless right now.. Though not totally because Im still sleeping in a room, though its cold tonight and Winter season is just a few days away.. So hopefully, I can sleep well and be able to wake up not feeling tired or nothing aching in my body… Im thinking is this the price that I have to pay for not being a good employee?? ahaha.. nevermind..
Good thing that the package will be delivered as early as the next day, So I dont have to worry about sleeping on a box for another 3 days or so.. Hopefully, nothing bad will happen during the transfer of the things so that I can use the futon as early as possible..
So tonight, I will feel what homeless people, or Hobo as my friend Demsen said, feels when they are sleeping on the streets, feeling cold, everybody looking at them, and dirty.. Nah.. Im not that dirty… And later if it gets really cold, I’ll ask my friend if we can use the heater so that it will lessen my loneliness of feeling like a homeless guy.. hehe..
Ja, gonna sleep early tonight.. Dont want to miss the bus.. Its going to be a hassle if I dont make it in time..
Oyasumi…

On the other news, remember the tall statue in my previous posts?? Well, she now wears this new outfit.. Its for the Winter Clearance this month.. Here is the pic:

Ja, merry christmas to all ulit.. ehehe
Merry Christmas
Ill make this quick coz I cut my fingers so I cannot really type so well right now… I wanted to greet you guys a very very Merry Christmas.. Peace on Earth!!
Happy Birthday Jesus….
Also, celebrating today is my friend Kuya Pot’s Bday… so here is my gift to you..

Special Greeting
Christmas Time
Sad to say, Im not gonna be able to see my family this Christmas.. Though they are just a phonecall away, its still different when you are with them.. Going to the Simbang Gabi together, eating foods together, receiving gifts from them, opening your gift, not being surprised with your gift coz you are the one who wrapped it, having fun with them, and alot more.. Wow, this is my first time spending my Christmas alone.. Hmm, and I guess theres nothing I can do about it…
Here in Nagoya, as early as December 1, alot of posters, christmas lights, christmas trees, and designs had been put up in celebration for the upcoming Christmas.. And at night, it seems like theres always an event sa sobrang dami ng ilaw sa kalsada.. And in the walkway near my office, where the big statue stands, are two Christmas Trees, one color blue and another color red.. Even the statue is wearing a Christmas Attire.. In Nagoya eki, there are mini Christmas trees that changes colors every minute or so, and theres a display on the top.. Nagoya is very lively at night.. Napaka ganda lalo.. What more pa kaya sa Sakae… Hmm, wanna see the view there.. ehehe..
Here are some of the pictures I collected:

Statue dressed as Santa

The Blue Christmas Tree.. Theres also a red one

Nagoya Station
Noticed the white lights below it?? Thats 3 Christmas Trees, and alot of flowers with very bright christmas lights that changes color… On the middle is a Christmas light matrix that changes its drawing..

Very Original... Look in the Middle Building.. See the shape of the open lights
Natawa ako dun sa last pic..
As for my handa, I will just cook a Carbonara.. Masaya na ako sa Carbonara.. Hehe.. Madali lang kasing iluto, I can use the ingredients I want, and kung inde man masarap, ok lang kasi ako lang naman kakain.. ahaha.. Sad to say, may pasok pa din kami sa office kahit Christmas.. Kaya goodluck nalang samin diba.. ehehe..
Ja, sa lahat, Merry Christmas!!!
**Special Greeting, Happy Birthday Kuya Pot.. ehehe… Bday din nya kasi sa Deceber 25.. ehehe
Palakihan ng ano…
Best Statue so far..
Here in Nagoya, fashion is never neglected.. Everyday you will see alot of people with their high heels, or boots since its cold that costs more than a DSLR camera, short shorts, stylish hair, makeups, designer bags etc.. And I notice, inde nagpapahuli kahit mga manikin..
Everyday, while going to the office, I always pass by this very very big statue, which is very famous here in Nagoya. I dont know its name, but its a girl, i knew just by looking at the attires she’s wearing.. So almost every month, sometimes every week, the statue’s attire is changed.. It depends on the season or some events that the this statue’s attire is attractive.. And I kinda notice na nakiki-in ang statwa na to… Here are some of the pictures that I and my friend Ate Beth collected for the past few months:

Inde ko alam kung anu okasyon nito..

May Festival sa Nagoya

World Aids Day

Christmas Attire
So right now, I dont know if they are going to change the latest attire.. Since its christmas, I think that it will stay the same until next year.. Sadly, I will not be able to take a look at its new attire..
BTW, foreigners dont let the chance pass by if ever they come accross this statue.. Picture here, picture there, picture everywhere.. So I dont need to have a picture with the statue cause its obvious that some of the pictures are taken by me.. ehehe..
So if ever you come across this statue when you visit Nagoya, have a picture with it.. ehehe.. It is located near the Meitetsu Building, and on the other side of the Spiral Building.. So if you see this spiral looking building, then you’re very near it already..
Ill try to ask my friend Demsen if he can take its picture by the time when Im gone.. ehehe..
Hotaru no Hikari
Wow.. Hisashiburi guys.. In Japanese, it means Long time no see.. In my case, its Long time no Blog.. ehehe.. Been very busy for the past few days.. Still has hangover of last week’s events.. So what I have been doing lately?? Nothing much.. Ive been late twice this week, cause I woke up late.. Ive called alot of logistics company to take care of my garbage… Ive been very busy changing my address for the JLPT results… And i notice, mail services here in Japan is still famous.. And by mail service I mean yung magpapadala ka ng letter sa post office para sa registration, sa questions, etc.. So much for the technology nowadays.. ehehe… Good thing that the people in the post office are kind enough to guide me every step, and took care of the letters that I sent.. They even pasted the stamps themselves.. ehehe.. So I say kudos to their services… Other than that, the last episode of Heroes was released last tuesday, Ive downloaded it but was only able to watch it last night.. I became the video source for some of my friends, cause file transfer is faster than torrents for this case.. Also, the latest episode of Prison Break season 4 was also released last tuesday…
So for the past few days, I wanted to erase some files that I really dont need in my laptop.. Since Ive been downloading alot of videos recently, my hard disk is close to its limit.. When I looked at one of my drives, there are still those JDramas that I downloaded, but never even watched.. I dont want to waste the time I spent downloading them so I thought, why not watch it before deleting it… If I became interested, then Ill continue to watch, but if not, ill say bye bye to it… So I decided to randomly select a JDrama.. And I clicked a folder named Hotaru no Hikari, which means Glow of Fireflies.. I immediately clicked the first episode and fast forwarded somewhere in the middle of the video stream.. I was not sure of what I felt when I watched it, but since it was funny, I decided to watch it from the beginning.. And the next thing I knew, was that I was watching the 3rd episode..
Hotaru no Hikari is a very interesting JDrama about an office lady who is very talented and very industrious at work.. But that act is only at her office.. By the time she got home, she wears jerseys, ties her hair like a poodle, lays on the floor, read magazines and her favorite drink is beer.. So much for the girl in the office, but she completely changes when she is at home.. Her house is very dirty, lot of used clothes on the floor, news paper everywhere, and it seems that a man is living in that house.. A barowner, which turned out to be the father of her boss, gave her the house.. On the other hand, her boss had a problem with his wife and they separated.. Her Boss then went to his father’s house to live, but he found out that her subordinate was living there.. And after that, they lived together for some time, and many funny things happened since then..
Here is a picture of the JDrama:
So what I find interesting in this JDrama is the girl’s personality.. She haven’t found a guy yet kasi nga after work uwi kagad, then ala namang ginagawa sa bahay.. And then she met this one guy (her officemate) who she fell in love with, but find it hard to express her feelings.. And thats where the funny things happen.. Her boss gives her advices on how she can make her relationship to work, but most of the time she fails at first try.. And in the end, it seems that her boss, since spending time with her for a long time, is faling in love wth her.. Hmm… Still need to watch the last episode…
Right now, Im on the last episode, sad to say I have to delete the files after watching it.. But this will be on my top priority list after I buy a new harddisk.. So if you guys wanted to watch it, just click the picture and it will direct you to mysoju.com.. So I hope you enjoy this JDrama as much as I do…

It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air

Last thursday, our company held our Bonenkai, aka Year-End Party.. Though its not yet the end of the year, in companies they held the party while there are still work, since after the working days, each employee has their own party to attend to, its better to do it as early as possible so that everyone can participate..
Well, we went in a karaoke house, a very very big karaoke house, 3 stations away from our office.. The room was very big that it can accomodate 30 people minimum.. There are two tvs where the songs can be seen, then there are 4 long tables and chairs… Each table had 2 sets of everything.. Then that karaoke house uses the karaoke machine that our company created… And before the party was started, all the programmers of the karaoke tested the device for bugs and errors.. ehehe..
As for the food, we had this main dish called nabe, it is a stew where you just put all the vegies, chicken, sea foods, mushrooms, and beef inside.. then you just let it boil so that the foods can be cooked.. It was very delicious.. And that food is very famous during Winter season.. Though they dont eat that everyday since the ingredients are very expensive..
Sad to say that I was not able to bring my camera… So no pictures this time.. I was really disappointed when I knew that my crush was going to the party.. Sad to say, that was my last chance of taking the picture.. Haayzz…
So thats one party down.. ehehe..
The next day, Friday, was the day that I went back to Kamakura.. Well, for so many reasons.. First, we had our very own Christmas Party, and then theres also this Job Fair in Akihabara that we went to..
So first, lets talk about the Christmas Party.. We celebrated this small Christmas Party for two Main reasons, first, our friends kuya Pot and ate Kat will be going back to the Philippines this week, then the next reason was that there were no other day that we can do the party.. So after my work, I went straight to the train station and bought my Shinkansen ticket going to Yokohama.. After 1 hour and 10 minutes, I arrived at Shin Yokohama station and had 3 train transfers then arrived at Ofuna station, the station closest to our apartment in Kamakura.. I took the bus because I had alot of stuffs with me and I dont want to walk cause its very cold that night, and arrived at the apartment at around 9:15pm.. so thats 2 hours from Nagoya to Ofuna.. Really really really fast…
The party has not yet started when I came, and we waited for Dabbie and Glad because they bought desserts and snacks, then we also waited for kuya James and kuya Aster cause they bought the drinks..
When they came, we started eating the foods prepared by Dabbie and Grace.. So that was Bicol Express and Seafood Pasta..
After eating, we played alot of games and started with the game called Bluff.. That is a card game where you will put a card/s face down and say what it is.. But that card may or may not be the one you said it was.. So if a person said that you are bluffing, and when the card is a bluff, then youll get back the card.. But if the card is not a bluff, then the person who said that its a bluff will get the cards.. So whats interesting in this game is that nobody really knows if the card is a bluff not unless you have the cards to support it… And the placing of cards will continue until a person calls a bluff… And thats the exciting part because when someone calls a bluff, and there are plenty of cards, one of them (the one who put down the card and the one who called a bluff) is in a very big trouble… ehehe… So the game ends when one puts down all of his cards.. And the one with the most cards is the loser.. And in our game, the loser will have his face covered with baby powder.. hehe.. Luckily, out of 7 person playing the game, 3 people didnt had their faces with powder.. And Im one of them, then Glad and the last one with no powder on their face is kuya James..
That is kuya Pot, the biggest loser of this game.. ehehe.. And whats interesting was that, he was the one who knows this game.. ehehe.. The second runner up is ate Kat with 2 losses.. ehehe..
After that, we played another game called Ballesteros where a person leads the game by controlling who to call.. So in this game, each participant will be given a code like magkano, ha, bakit, ballesteros, saan, etc… Then the one leading the game, in our case kuya Pot, will call each codename and the one assigned with that code should answer Po, and then answer his question with a price.. Then pag ang code name mo is Ha, or magkano or Bakit.. And whats fun was that, this was Glads game.. because of this game, we put powder in her face 5 times.. ehehe.. and take note consecutive… ehehe.. Kala nga namin aabot siya ng 10, sayang, pang countdown sana yung pichurs nya sa new year.. hehe..
So the last one standing is, well, me.. So they all wanted to put powder in my face, so bad that I dont know what will happen if I lost… So after that game, we played the game called, Shagidi Shagidi.. I really didnt have any idea what this game was, but fortunately I was able to absorb how to play the game.. Well, its like a domino effect game, where the leader will make gestures or movement in the tune of the song, Shagidi Shagidi Shapopo.. What caught my attention was the song of the game, at first I thought it was called Shagidi Shagidi Siya Pokpok... ehehe…
So there were trials first because there were alot of us who didnt knew the game well… And after the trial games, we played the real game.. And here is the video:
Well, on the far background is kuya Pot, and following the game, next to him is kuya James, then kuya Aster, then me, then Ate Kat, then Glad and the last person is Dabbie… So as you can see, my face was the only one with no powder yet.. But after this game, look at my face… So here is the comparison of the pictures:
So looking at the picture, it seems that I was the biggest loser for the entire game..
Sad to say, that was the last game that we played.. And we were making fun of that nihonjin kasi he was wearing jogging pants, snickers, and a sweater.. So akala namin nagjo-jog sya somewhere at napadaan lang at naingayan samin..
After the confrontation, pinagchikahan pa namin yung hapon, then nagprepare na din kami matulog..
Well, that was one of the best things that happened this year.. Actually, pag kasama ko sila, everything is the best.. Thats why Im happy that I was able to be with them on the special event… Sana may next time pa na ganun.. ehehe..
If I were a Girl
Last week, I checked out my friend’s post, Glad, and saw this amazing rendition of the song If I Were a Boy by Beyonce… After hearing that, I became addicted to the song.. So addicted, that I watched that video for almost 20 times.. No kidding.. I looked up for the original video of the song, and it pleased me more.. Beyonce, making another hit song, has became more popular recently.. Releasing new albums, new looks, new songs, and to top it all, almost all of her songs are really good.. Too bad I dont buy CD’s and stuffs.. And with regards to this song, Im really touched by the lyrics and the way she sang it.. Though I think that the rendition of Rin on the Rox has more higher notes and is much better than Beyonce’s, but if you happen to watch the video, then you’ll soon realize the effect of the lyrics.. Here is the original video by Beyonce, entitled If I were a Boy..
And this is the rendition of Rin on the Rox… For guys out there, focus on the song ok.. The Song!!! ehehe..
I became addicted to this song that after getting a mp3 copy, thanks again to Glad, I just played it over and over and over again.. Literally, thats the only song Im playing on Itunes right now.. And I play it everytime I chat, browse, eat, and sleep.. So you may say, “Dont you get sick of that song??”, and you will be surprised if I say no.. ehehe…
For the past few years, these kind of songs have been anti-ed by the opposite sex.. For example, the song No Scrubs by TLC has been answered by the song No Pigeons by Sporty Thievz.. The song Irreplaceable by Beyonce, has been answered by the song Irreplaceable (Male Version) by Neyo… And this time, since Ive been hearing this song alot, I wonder, why not edit the lyrics, and make it from the Boys Point of View..
So I looked up for the lyrics of the song, and I just edited some of the words and made up with this lyrics..
If I were a girl
Even just for a day
I would wake up every morning
Go anywhere I wanted to go
Party with the gals
And look out for boys
I would dance with who I wanted
For sure I will never get bored at it
Cause they’re attracted to meIf I were a girl
I think I could understand
How it feels to be loved back
I swear I’d be a better girl
I’ll be honest to him
Cause I know how it feels
When you lose the one you wanted
Cause she flirted with somebody
And everything you had got destroyedIf I were a girl
I would turn on my phone
Not pretending that its broken
So they wont think
Im sleeping with a boy
And after my work
Ill contact him as I go
Cause I know that he’d be waiting
Waiting for me to come home (to come home)If I were a girl
I think I could understand
How it feels to be loved back
I swear I’d be a better girl
Ill be honest to him
Cause I know how it feels
When you lose the one you wanted
Cause she flirted with somebody
And everything you had got destroyedIt is never too late for you to come back
I know its a mistake
And Ill forgive you for that
If you thought I would wait for you
You are rightBut you are a girl
You don’t understand (yea you don’t understand)
How it feels to be loved back
Someday you’ll wish you were a better girl
You’re not honest to him
You dont know how it feels
Until you lose the one you wanted
Cause you flirted with somebody
And everything you had got destroyed
And youre really a girl…
Its not that good, or maybe for you it doesnt have any meaning at all.. Well for me, hmm, also none.. ehehe.. Ala lang akong magawa kaya go lang ng go.. ehehehe.. Medyo panget lang yung naipalit kong words, but i think its ok.. ehehe..
So there.. this is just another Walang kuwenta post of mine.. ehehe…
